Your Paradise|| Always The Student

Everyone's perception of  'paradise' is different. Just as no two people are the same, neither are two minds. Through travelling I've learnt to embrace many cultures and traditions, to open your mind to new experiences and to take every small crappy moment with a pinch of salt. There's always a rainbow at the end of a rain storm, always a light at the end of the tunnel. Learning to love the minor things is both a blessing and a curse. A good thing: because you're able to appreciate even the petite aspects of life. A bad thing: because sometimes it's hard to let go.

The road to paradise is one of difficulty. It's one of heartache and pain. But that's why it's called 'Paradise' because it's like nothing you've ever felt before. Calm, Blissful, Serene. Possibly something that can't be attained on this earth, but in time you'll find it. For now let's be satisfied with worldly utopia-like depictions here on this planet.

This Warmth|| Always The Student

We're steadily rolling into summer here in Australia. The warm rays of sunshine hit our faces every time we step out the door, we're so blessed to live in a country of blissful summers and hot Chritmas' - a weird concept for all of you in the northern hemisphere. As I sit inside my room on this beautiful day writing this post I wonder how different it would be if I lived elsewhere. The thought of a cold, white Christmas is a perplex and alien concept to me. Having roast dinners, warm puddings and hot chocolates on Christmas Eve. Weird.

But today's post is more targeted at how 'End of Year Resolutions'. Around this time in Australia many of us are aiming to attain that ideal shape we want for summer, only to hibernate and
'pack on the pounds' in winter as well as experience unfamiliar territories in new destinations, new people and new food but we always back out. Here are few 'end of year resolutions' along with the reason why we never keep them:

>Staying fit and healthy - because our misconception of 'fit' is being able to FIT in that new dress and 'healthy' as having lost weight. Through these ideals we tend to go back to our humanly normal ways when summer is over.

>Trying new things - its in our nature to feel secure and comforted in the familiar. Our ability to experience new and different sensations only extend to how content we are with ourselves, and how far we're willing to test our own limits.

>Staying in touch - Family. Friends. Classmates. We try our best to keep in touch with our most valued support networks but it's excuses like "I'm just so busy.." or "We'll talk soon.." that inhibit us from ever following through on these promises.

But this summer let's try to uphold these unkept resolutions:
I'll be posting different recipes and ideas everyday to inspire and motivate you all to obtain that 'Bangin' Bod'. (Recipe for the 'Antioxidant +' below)
I'll be sharing new experiences, and new adventures over the next few months you might want to check out, hoping to encourage you to make your own new adventures.

There's a whole world out there for you to explore, learn and love
Let's take a step back into the classroom so life can teach us about everything it has to offer.

Never stop learning, Never stop loving
